If it’s true that you can judge a person by the company they keep, then it’s likely you can also judge a brewery by the company with whom they collaborate.
Like many emerging innovative craft breweries, Louisville, KY’s Butchertown Brewing, has adopted the philosophy of utilizing collaborations as a means to not only further hone their craft, but to also build greater relationships with other like-minded breweries that share similar philosophies and stylistic focus.
“These collaborations represent more than just the fusion of different brewing techniques; they’re a symbol of our commitment to pushing the boundaries of craft brewing,” said Andy Cobb, Butchertown Brewing Founder and Head Brewer. “We are excited to introduce Louisville’s Most Interesting Beer to beer lovers, both local and nationwide, highlighting Kentucky’s dynamic beer scene, which is as rich and diverse as our state’s bourbon heritage.”
In 2024 Butchertown has already lined up an accomplished cast of collaborating breweries, including the likes of Bottle Logic, Eighth State, Mortalis, and Narrow Gauge to name a few; a direct reflection of their own meteoric rise.
The rising Louisville brewery currently already features a collaboration with Xul Brewing, a rum barrel-aged gluten-free beer conditioned with cream of coconut, orange juice, and pineapple juice.
