Denver’s Great Divide Brewing has announced the opening of the Great Divide Brewery and Roadhouse in Lone Tree, Colo., next month. This will be the second location for the drinking and dining concept and builds on the popularity of the original establishment in Castle Rock, Colo., which opened in 2020. Great Divide also has two locations in downtown Denver and an outpost at Denver International Airport.
The newest venue promises 14 taps of Great Divide beer including perennial favorites Hazy IPA, HeyDay, Titan and Yeti imperial Stout. The bar will dedicate two taps for experimental beers brewed in Castle Rock and additional taps for rotating seasonal brews. It will also offer wine and a full bar. On the restaurant side, Great Divide is aiming to have elevated comfort food for brunch, lunch and dinner with an emphasis on pub fare such as burgers, pizza, wings and tacos.
Growing a Successful Partnership
After the success of their first location in Castle Rock, Great Divide again partnered with hospitality company Vibe Concepts to bring the brewery and roadhouse concept to Denver’s southern suburbs. Says Vibe Co-Founder Dan Shipp. “Alongside the phenomenal partner that is Great Divide, we can’t wait to bring standout beer, elevated comfort food and unparalleled ambiance to the Lone Tree community.”
Great Divide Brewery & Roadhouse Lone Tree will reside on the ground floor of the Charles Schwab conference center. A massive mahogany bar underneath a copper ceiling will anchor the 8,200-sq-foot space. The building will also feature a heated four-season patio connected to the interior by two large garage doors, as well as a private dining area that can be closed off for events.
Future Expansion Plans
Vibe’s Director of Operations Justin Adrian expresses the enthusiasm of both companies for the brewery/roadhouse concept. “We’re looking forward to opening this neighborhood eatery and creating lifelong fans of Vibe Concepts.” Building on the momentum, Vibe plans to open a third Great Divide Brewery & Roadhouse in Lakewood, Colorado, in 2025.
